5 Stars This stuff works!
If you have a string algae problem, this is what you need. I used to brush and brush the rocks trying to get rid of the string algae in my pond, but it would quickly return. Use Algae Fix every 3 days to treat the problem. I then use it once a week as a preventative. Problem solved!

I had an awful problem with algea in my backyard pond..I could not control it at all. I bought this product and within one week and ever since I have had NO algea. I initially shocked it every day for a few days then once a week. It is amazing and if you have algea, get this right away and you will be very happy not to see all that green stuff in your pond!!!

1 Star There's a better alternative to this toxic product
I purchased this product for a small pond that was very algae-ridden. It cleared the algae to some extent, but it returned before the next dose was due. When researching pond care, one is advised to change up to 1/3 of the water on a regular basis, yet this product warns against letting any of the treated water out (contain all outflow). It also is identified as a cause of cancer and you must avoid contact with skin and eyes (yet it's safe for fish?)

As this wasn't solving my problem, and my fish all died, I purchased a UV light- mine is in a statue- you can also get them for placement in the water line or skimmer. Overnight my pond was crystal clear. I have to do nothing to control the algae- you can see to the bottom 4 ft down. This is a much better treatment for algae.

Works great! I have a small 20 gallon bond put in one tablspoon and it was crystal clear in one day!! great price too I payed twise this at a small pond and fountin shop.
